Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account or using any part of the ClaudeTrading service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

ClaudeTrading provides an automated copy-trading service that mirrors trades executed by a master strategy to subscriber brokerage accounts. The strategy is driven by technical indicators and AI-assisted analysis. Supported brokers currently include Alpaca Markets, Tradier, Interactive Brokers (IBKR), and Robinhood (via unofficial API). Additional brokers may be added over time.

The Service does not provide investment advice, portfolio management, or financial planning services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to trade securities in your jurisdiction. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. The Service is not available to residents of jurisdictions where such services are prohibited.

4. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Subscription and Billing

• Free Trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No payment method is required during the trial.
• Paid Subscription: After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription billed monthly via Stripe.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via the account portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice.

6. Broker API Keys & Credentials

To copy trades to your brokerage account, you must provide API credentials for your chosen broker. Supported brokers and the credentials required are:

• Alpaca Markets — API Key ID and Secret Key. We recommend enabling trading permissions only; do not grant withdrawal or transfer permissions.
• Tradier — Access Token from your Tradier developer account.
• Interactive Brokers (IBKR) — Account ID and a generated API token. Ensure the IBKR account has the appropriate trading permissions enabled.
• Robinhood — Email, password, and optionally a TOTP secret for two-factor authentication. Note: Robinhood does not provide an official third-party API. Use of this integration is at your own risk and subject to Robinhood's terms of service.

All credentials are stored encrypted at rest using Fernet (AES-128-CBC). You are responsible for the security of your brokerage account and for ensuring credentials have appropriate permissions. We are not responsible for trades executed, orders placed, or losses incurred in your brokerage account as a result of copy-trading activity.

7. Risk Disclosure

Trading in securities involves substantial risk of loss. Past performance of the master strategy is not indicative of future results. You acknowledge that:

• You may lose all or part of the funds in your trading account.
• Automated trading may execute trades without your direct approval.
• Technical failures, API outages, or connectivity issues may cause missed trades or erroneous orders.
• The master strategy may underperform or generate losses at any time.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the trading strategy or source code.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClaudeTrading and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to trading losses, loss of profits, or data loss, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific trading results will be achieved.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us to delete your data.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
